Great book for getting my last little boy interested in growing up and moving out of diapers. He liked it so much he's kept reading it for almost two years since he potty trained. He's finally ready to give it away now, so off to the library donations is goes.

I really liked this Potty Book. The first reason why I liked this book was because it teaches a valuable and good “lesson” to young boys. It teaches boys how to graduate from diapers and learn how to use the potty on their own. The second reason why I liked this book was because it’s a humorous and gentle story. The humor that I liked in this story included when Henrys mom and ad bring home a big box for Henry to open. While Henry doesn’t know what it is, he thinks, “Is it a rocking chair? A bed?” and when he opens it up he is surprised to see a baby potty. I think this gentle humor is good for the little boys that would be reading this book (or being read the book to). Third, I really liked the illustrations in the book. They were very descriptive and well drawn, and even funny! My favorite was when Henry had an accident and missed the potty, and there is a pile of pee at Henrys feet. The main idea of this book is to teach beginning children how to use the potty and leave diapers behind. This book is also only meant for younger boys to use and not for girls.
