Henry and June : (From the Unexpurgated Diary of Anais Nin) Paperback
by Anais Nin
Part of the Penguin Modern Classics series
Drawn from journals, this book is an account of a woman's sexual awakening, covering a single momentous year - 1931-32, in Paris, when June fell in love with Henry Miller, undermining her own idealized marriage.
The question of the outcome of June Miller's return to Paris dominates her thoughts.

Review by Clurb
I found this book in turns extremely difficult to read and intensely interesting. I think my overwhelming concern was that the content was just too personal to be read comfortably. Worth the read just for Nin's unique writing.
