Part of the Willy the Chimp series

5 out of 5 (1 rating)

Willy is different. He likes to read books and listen to music; he's no good at sports, although he tries; and wherever he goes he gets laughed at.

But when he's threatened by the horrible Buster Nose he really comes into his own.

Review by

This story tackles bullying through a young monkey named Willy who is a very small monkey. His other friends are bigger gorillas. One day this big bully gorilla approaches them and the gorillas get scared anf run away. Willy is left alone with the bully. The bully swings at Willy and he ducks but as he comes up he hits the bully in the chin with his head. The bully is defeated by Willy and he along with his friends celebrate. This book is great to use when teaching kids about bullying and standing up for themselves.
