Peter Rabbit Animation:The Peter Rabbit ClubThis Peter Rabbit Animation book finds us travelling along with Peter, Benjamin and Lily as they create their own club and go on great adventures. I love that the book has an opening page that gives you an illustration of Peter's Woods. It says it is in Peter's Dad's journal and that you can see where everyone lives. It is both cute and informative. There are two things I love about it most: 1) It has details on each person, labelled at their house. Such as: This is Mr Tod. Foxes eat Rabbits. Need I say more? 2) It has contour lines! Being an outdoorsy, hill-walking type, I love that this map has sketched contour lines!Throughout their adventures they are smart, creative and work as a team. I think the book has great lessons to teach young readers and it is a fun read, brining some of the villains into the story! I also love that the kids get a page spread that shows all the bits and bobs that Peter, Benjamin and Lily have in their secret treehouse/clubhouse, and it has a great page about how to create your own secret clubhouse. I used to love creating secret locations to spend time in or have friends over in, and every child who reads this book will jump at the opportunity to have a clubhouse just like Peter. Finally, the book has a great certificate at the back, that makes your child part of the super secret, adventure club - The Peter Rabbit Club! OVERALL: Another fantastic book for children. It has fun adventures and lessons to be learned, just as our childhood Peter Rabbit book did. It is a great book for young readers!
