by Bram Stoker
Part of the Unabridged Classics series
"Dracula" still thrills and chills today...and forever.
This title is suitable for children aged 10 and up. Thanks to the huge success of the "Twilight" series, vampires have become the most popular supernatural creatures on earth.
But "Dracula" is the one that started it all, back in 1897.
Bram Stoker's eternally terrifying classic established the genre, with its looming Transylvanian castle; creepy undead bloodsuckers; innocent maidens in danger; and unforgettable characters, including the insane insect-eating Renfield.

Review by thejohnsmith
The language is sometimes a little difficult (typically Victorian - it's over 100 years old after all) but the atmosphere is there and the story is strong. I found it every bit as thrilling in 2011/12 as I did when I read it first time around (about 1970) - before all those other Vampire novels.
