Review by ruric
Typical DK guidebook, lots of gorgeous colour photos and full-spread pages, short, succinct text. Book composed of 6 main sections: 1 - overview of design & how to fit veg/fruit in a garden. 2 - how to start: planning, soils, compost, tools & equipment. 3 - how to grow some of the more common veg suited for smaller plots. 4 - looks at planting plans and growing in pots. 5 - caring for crops. 6 - plant guide (varieties suitable for small plots and different soil types). Great for a beginner possibly a little light on info for a more experienced gardener. Photos are lovely though!
