Review by

This is a in between book which as Dan Millman suggests would be read half way through the first book. Millman states that one should understand that this story takes place, not after but within the peaceful warrior (you could read way of the peaceful warrior to page 184 and then read scared journey in its entirety!). I did feel a bit gutted when i read that as i thought that i had spent time reading the first book to be informed that the second slots in about half away from the first! Anyhow this is a decent book, However i dont think it has left a finger print like the first. The basic story is that after training with Socrates who is his mentor Millman is sent away to apply what he has learnt. He prepares to meet a mysterious woman in Hawaii whom he will meet when the time is right for his to do so. She is his gateway to all his hopes and fears and the only one who can prepare him for the whatever comes next. In esscence this book reminds you of how scared everyday life is, that each day is a journey from which we can learn so much. Life is an adventure, embrace it and learn from it as each step is essentially a learn curve.
