Imagine starting at the end and finishing back at the beginning.

This is the story of a teenage girl called Valerie Saunders who is about to be thrown through time and space.

Being bestowed with abilities beyond her wildest nightmares, she discovers that she not only has to deal with turning eighteen, her first job and an unwanted tattoo, but also magical powers and intense urges to fall in love.

She envisaged she would spend her life blending into the scenery, not blowing it up!

Val has a calling, but which side is dialling her number?

Review by

Georgia Twynham is the self published author of the new Thirteenth series. I met Georgia while she was signing books in Waterstones, Nottingham toward the end of 2010. I liked the sound of it so off I toddled with my signed copy of The Thirteenth. I hurried to finish my then current read, and was then falling into the pages of this fabulous book! It's a teen/young adult read (I'm a teen in the making at 39!!), with Supernatural happenings, and plenty of twists too. It's a fast paced book which throws the heroine into the deepend from the off. Val Saunders, is a fantastic heroine, she is always in the thick of the action, and when things don't go quite right and she gets knocked and bumped, she just picks herself up and dusts herself down, and gets back on with it. Val has plenty of friends to help her along as well as enemies, some quite unsuspected. In all for me a Fantastic first novel and start to a series, that any one any age will enjoy, a real page turner. Can't wait for the rest!!
