Angels : True Stories of How They Touch Our Lives Paperback
by Hope Price
"Angels" offers evidence that these messengers from God do intervene in our lives, carrying out practical missions of mercy and comfort.
Hope Price has gathered the testimonies of hundreds of people to whom angels have miraculously appeared, sometimes in human form, sometimes as beings shimmering with light.
Angels have been seen to rescue children and adults from disaster, give early warning of impending tragedy and offer protection in times of fear, danger and bereavement. And always they leave behind a sense of divine peace.
The author places these stories in the context of the Bible and historical assumptions about angels.

Do angels really touch our lives? This collection of true stories is both inspiring and comforting. The numerous personal accounts are recorded matter-of-factly, with constant acknowledgement that angels are messengers of God and not to be worshipped or sought-after. Stories include angels seen in the First World War, angels in human form, traditional angels, the experiences of children and many more. A delightful book , and a reminder of God's gracious intervention in our lives.

Written to answer the question asked by a friend of the author "Are angels around today?" Hope Price, formerly a missionary involved in rural development in Rwanda and the wife of an Anglican vicar appealed for personal testimonies from people who had experienced angelic visitations. As a result her book answers the question with a resounding "Yes".
