So, the TPB starts with Ultraman’s origin and story during the Forever Evil story line, then it bounced from Crime Syndicate member to Crime Syndicate member, giving us all their stories except for Superwoman’s (which was a bummer since hers was the one I really wanted to see). The underpinning of all these stories is Grid, the computer virus that took over Cyborg’s body and ripped all the cybernetics apart from the Victor Stone parts of Cyborg. Grid is looking at all the Crime Syndicate’s stories because he can’t feel, but he wants to figure out why his allies feel, and of course feel something, anything, himself. Then the story changes point of view a bit and we get to see Cyborg again, and then the story gets its zaniness cranked up to 1000 because Doctor Will Magnus and his Metal Men get introduced into the story. I’ve never read a ton of Metal Men comics, but the ones I’ve read I’ve liked and this part of the TPB was no exception. They were hilarious, and honorable, and awesome. It was a good TPB, filling in more of the nooks and crannies of the Forever Evil story line very well.I got this advanced galley through Netgalley on behalf of DC Entertainment
