This poetry book follows a young toddler through the typical activities of a the life in a day of a toddler. The poems cover themes such as activities around the house, meals, friendship, family, birthdays, and bedtime. This collection is a excellent introduction for young children to a variety of excellent poets and the writing style of poetry. I can see this book used with maybe kindergarten students to introduce them to poetry.

A lovely collection of poems (60) for the young poet. Organized in a way the young children can relate to... Me, Myself and I, Who Lives in My House, I Go Outside and Time for Bed. Illustration are bright and welcoming. A Circle of Sun poem is well written with a striking sun pictured. Lots of fun poems to read about Birthday, delicious treats, tantrums and nighttime routines
