Description

Coeliac disease is a digestive problem caused by gluten intolerance.

More and more cases are being diagnosed, and doctors now recognize it as a very serious health problem.

The symptoms include serious weight loss, pain, fatigue and depression, and many people report enormous improvements as a result of following a gluten-free diet.

This handbook contains explanations of the causes and symptoms of coeliac disease, and sets out the diet, including some recipes.

An interesting read about Coeliac or Celiac disease with a lot of useful information, much anecodotal, about living with Coeliac disease from a UK perspective. It's not bad but in places it does come across as a bit twee, with some of the exercises being embarassing. Much of the advice is solid, though and it's a good starting point. There are also some recipies, which I haven't tried yet.
