Princesses are Not Perfect Paperback
by Kate Lum
Illustrated by Sue Hellard
These aren't the kind of princesses who sit around doing nothing - they're very busy every day ...gardening, baking and making things.
But one day, one of the princesses wants a change from her job - she wants to bake.
After all, she's good at everything. But soon the princesses learn that specialisation is itself a skill and, actually, being a jack of all trades isn't quite as good as being a master of one.
A fresh and jaunty picture book featuring three high-spirited princesses and their trusty housekeeper, Mrs Blue.

Review by AmandaLK
This book is a wonderful fairytale, all about three princesses who each have one specialty, baking, woodshop, or gardening, and one day they decide that since "princesses are good at everything" they should just switch jobs for the fun of it, which turns out to be a big mistake. They learn that princesses are NOT perfect, but good at doing what they love. This would be a great book for little girls during their "princess stage" in early elementary school.
