Intriguing story. Shows how easily people can be led by others and how others can close their eyes to see things. A rather unrealistic love story is at its centre - although the confusing teenage feelings are depicted very well.

There's something about Lucas you can't help but love. Cute, mysterious, observant, self-sufficient, a little dark, a little dangerous... you can see why Cait falls for him so easily. Living in a small town growing up, it's also easy to see why the town turns on him for seemingly nothing. This is a very dramatic edge-of-the-seat kind of book. I've read it twice now, and am sure I'll read it again someday.

I got [Lucas] for my 12th birthday from one my best friends when i started dating by first boyfriend obviously called Lucas.I got very allerted to it, to my horror. I hate romance, lovey books just make me cringe for some reason.I guess i was drawn to it becuse of the stange unusualness to it, the oddness drew me in, i like action, fantasy stuff so this to me was unusual so i stuck to it.I liked it, i really did i found myself attached to Caitlin and angry at the everybody for seeing 'Strange' as bad! I was nery happy that i wasn't stuck to in constantly, because i could put in down for a day then continue reading the next. I like that, i get annoyed that i spoilt reading a good book by shoving it though my brain in a a day. Best book i have ever got on my birthday, minus harry potter!Emotionally unusally amazing.
