I don't feel this book really help added anything to the series. It certainly didn't advance the plot in any way- it felt more like a filler book. Schuyler might as well not even appear anymore. She's boring, lifeless, flimsy and her everyday conversations with Jack are so dramatic. I still can't believe Jack abandoned his bond with Mimi for a relationship with absolutely no spark. My favourite part of the book was the section that followed Mimi. She's the only character- along with Oliver- who seems to be developing and reacting to her sitatuation. I don't really understand why a third of the book followed this random character called Deming- we learn nothing about her and she adds nothing to the story. Over all, the book felt a bit pointless and was a let down.
