Review by

In this short book, Russell describes his thought processes from atheism to some generic form of theism as the God he accesses through his own consciousness. He makes the point that from the perspective of relativity theory light, as a frame of reference, would have only one space-time position: here-now. He links this to the idea of light in various religious traditions and in his research on consciousness. He claims that consciousness should be considered at the same level if not higher than matter and definitely not derived from matter. He considers this a metaparadigm change and credits Kant with starting it off with the distinction between phenomena and noumena, between the mindset-reality we construct from our experiences and reality itself.
