This would be a much better book for someone from the US. It is quite US centric in the supplies and while most of it translates quite well I would recommend something by, for example, Penelope Ody or James Wong as starters for more British Isles centric uses. This would be an excellent second herbal for people from there, and probably a good starter for someone from the US.A lot of information crammed into this book
