The story of a boy who loses his beloved stuffed dog, then finds him in the arms of another child who bought him at the school carnival. Big sister, Bella, comes to the rescue and trades her prize bear to get Dogger back. This is a wonderful story for starting a conversation with students about empathy, generosity, and selflessness. Most children have experienced losing something they treasure, so this story really resonates with them.
