"Xenophobia--an irrational fear of foreigners, probably justified, always understandable." "Xenophobe's Guides--an irreverent look at the beliefs and foibles of nations, almost guaranteed to cure Xenophobia." I must admit, this book shows Americans, in general, as we truly are. As an American ex-pat who has lived abroud for 11 years (as I write this review), I can assure you this is how we are viewed. After the initial shock of feeling defensive, I was laughing out loud while reading several of the passages. I would greatly recommend this book for anyone who will be spending any amount of time in the U.S.A. !!! "Forewarned is forearmed"
