DVD

Description

Natalie Dormer stars as the eponymous character in this made-for-TV movie based on the life of Lady Seymour Worsley, details of which are covered in Hallie Rubenhold's book 'Lady Worsley's Whim'.

The film, set in the 18th century, follows the story of British noblewoman Seymour Fleming (Dormer), who married at a young age to Sir Richard Worsley, 7th Baronet (Shaun Evans).

With their marriage failing, Seymour has an affair with her husband's friend Captain George Bisset (Aneurin Barnard).

The lovers run away together but find themselves at the centre of a public scandal when Richard brings a criminal conversation case against Bisset.
