Review by

This was good enough. A short, sweet story of an elderly woman looking back on the war and a boy she met during it. The characters were all well done and the switching of tenses was done seamlessly. The plot is interesting albeit a little annoying because we already know how things worked out but it was still nice getting all the details filled in. The writing was also very good and a pleasure to read. It wasn't mindblowingly good but it was still a nice and worthwhile story.
