Description

Semi-fictionalised biographical documentary about British artist David Hockney in which he stars as himself.

Following a painful break-up with his muse Peter Schlesinger, Hockney is tormented and rendered unable to paint, causing alarm to his friends.

When inspiration finally does strike again, he creates one of his most famous works, 'Portrait of an Artist (Pool With Two Figures)'.
