Description
Comedic thriller adapted from Elmore Leonard's novel.
Chris Mankowski (Billy Burke) used to be a part of the bomb squad but he's recently been relegated to the sex crimes unit.
He falls for crime victim Greta Wyatt (Sabina Gadecki), but his pursuit of the main suspect, wealthy movie producer Woody (Crispin Glover), sees him suspended from the force and without any authority to make an arrest.
Chris isn't the only one after Woody, however, as criminal couple, Skip Gibbs (Christian Slater) and Robin Abbot (Breanna Racano) plot his murder in an attempt to acquire some of his wealth.
Furthermore, his assistant Donnell Lewis (Michael Jai White) plans to alter his boss's will to see him get more money in the event of his death.
With so many people after Woody, who will profit most from his sought after downfall?
