Jinnah, Blu-ray BluRay

Blu-ray

Description

Christopher Lee stars in the title role of this biographical drama about the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Following his death in 1948, Jinnah awaits his final judgment and narrates his life story in order to determine where he should be sent to in the afterlife.

Beginning in 1945, Jinnah recounts his attempts to gain a separate nation for British Indian Muslims at the Simla Conference with Lord Mountbatten (James Fox).

He then recounts more tales from his past including his marriage to Parsi Rattanbai Petit (Indira Varma), his early proposals of a two-nation theory, his time as the first Governor-General of Pakistan and the end of British rule and his role in the Kashmir Conflict, before his fate is ultimately decided.
