Her presence helps turn the amoral 'No-Name City' from a shanty town to a respectable settlement - for a while.

As a musical the film is particularly notable as a record of Lee Marvin's rendition of 'Wand'rin' Star' and Clint Eastwood singing 'I Talk to the Trees'; it also stars Harve Presnell and Ray Walston.
