  • This story was fun! Matilda's michives were very fun and clever. I like the most was that she put glue inside of his father's hat. Her family was really strange, so I was happy that she was able to live with Miss Honey.

  • I loved it and wish I had gotten to it sooner but I wasn't reading kids books at that time and my kids were in high school. It is so full of whimsy and fun and really brings back "fond" memories of that one teacher that you wished ill of.I was so glad that Matilda found someone who really understood her.

  • (FYI, this review was dictated by a 7-year-old girl)Matilda is a small girl with brilliant mind power. She taught herself to read, write, spell and do math. Her teacher, Miss Honey, was astounded at the girl's magical powers. She even tipped over the evil Trunchbull's glass of water with her eyes! Miss Honey argued with The Trunchbull, trying to send Matilda up to 11th Grade. Matilda succeeded in going to 11th Grade early and Miss Honey's dream came true. I will not tell you the very end but it is very good. You should read it and see!
