• Two children find themselves bored on a rainy day. A cat in a hat shows up with so many off-the-wall things to do during the entire day. These activities entertain the children, however the entire house becomes a huge mess. The children and the cat in the hat quickly clean up all the mess just in time for their parents to show up back at the house.

• This is a fun book with rhyming words that is used to help children learn to read. Two children are left alone when the cat in the hat comes to babysit. While there many bazar things happen that the children can't believe. The cat destroys the house and the children fear they will get in trouble when their mother gets home. They are freaking out and just before their mother walks through the door the everything in the house is cleaned the the house looks prefect.
