  • This book would be appropriate for pre-k through the first grade. There are very few words in the book and the words foot, feet, left and right are repeated numerous times throughout the story. Younger children should be able to follow a long. Also their are colorful and silly pictures that they may like. The book describes all the different kinds of feet and how everyone has different ones.Uses in the classroom:-I would have children trace their feet on a piece of paper and then decorate it. Then I would hang up the pictures all around the room so that children can see that not one will look the same. Under the pictures I would have them write what kind of feet they have. They can either think of their own description or use one from the book.-I would show children a collection of different feet (baby, horse, boy, girl, duck).
