  • I like the book when it comes to numbers. It is an interesting book to read, while also learning how to count. I would use this book just when counting things out.

  • The classic - in board form, with flaps that are easy to chew, and holes that you can just about stick a bit of tongue through.

  • This book used to be one of my favorites when I was a child. It follows this caterpillar on it's journey through eating. The caterpillar is always hungry. It eats through different things like ice cream, watermelon, lollipops, etc. At the end, the caterpillar changes into a butterfly. This book would be a great book to choral read with the class since the senteces are so small. It also teaches numbers and colors in a fun way.

  • Seeing the caterpillar emerge from the holes and seeing him transform into a butterfly is wonderful fun for a child. This book also teaches how a book is handled, how to turn the pages about counting and numbers. This classic book is so much delicious fun!
