Brooding Argentinian crime thriller starring Ricardo Darín. Sosa (Darín) is a 'carancho': a corrupt 'ambulance-chasing' lawyer who hangs around police stations and A&E wards in search of potential clients for insurance claims. One night he meets troubled young doctor Luján (Martina Gusman) at the scene of an accident. Luján is trying to resuscitate an injured man, while Sosa sees him purely as a potential source of income. The two begin an affair, but Sosa's dark past and Luján's work-related drug problems are soon creating complications in their fledgling relationship.
