Description

Baseball pitcher Billy Chapel (Kevin Costner), star of the Detroit Tigers, is told that his team is due to be sold just prior to the final game of the season. At the same time, Billy's girlfriend Jane (Kelly Preston) announces that she is leaving him for a job in London. As Billy prepares for his last outing with the Tigers, he reminisces about his five year relationship with Jane; how they met, began dating and experienced various highs and lows through pressures of work and, in Billy's case, infidelity.
