'Rumpole and the Female Species' finds Rumpole fighting the case for a female barrister. 'Rumpole and the Sporting Life' sees Rumpole defend a colleague's sister when she is charged with murder. Finally, in 'Rumpole and the Last Resort', the barrister calls in a few debts when he begins work on a fraud case.
