We are happy to accept orders from customers living outside the UK or for delivery outside the UK. Below are details that may help you when placing an order. There are some titles in our catalogue (eBooks in particular) that cannot be supplied outside the UK/EU, these restrictions are set by the Publisher and are due to their territorial rights.

If any restrictions apply we will be let you know when these items are added to your shopping basket and again during the Checkout process once you have confirmed the delivery address for your order.

All prices are shown in GBP £ and are billed in GBP £. However, we do offer the ability to see product prices 'converted' into EU Euros and US $ as an indicative guide to their value. These prices are for guidance only and may differ to those shown on your credit card statement and charged by your credit card issuer.

VAT

All product prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT, and are based upon UK VAT rates prevailing at the point of order. Books are currently Zero Rated in the UK. If you place an order for delivery outside of the UK you will be responsible for payment of any local taxes payable including VAT, and may be required to pay extra for delivery and clearance where necessary. These costs may vary from country to country and will need to be paid locally.

Customs Charges

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you. It is accepted by you that Hive has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance.

We recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your e order. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. In addition, any charges for import clearance will need to be paid by you, the customer.

BFPO Addresses: For BFPO addresses, please select UK as your country. Please note that we are currently unable to send orders by courier delivery to BFPO addresses. Please make sure you do not have this method selected at checkout.
