Welcome to The Bookshop, Welwyn Garden City, a general independent bookshop based within the Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City. The shop is positioned on the first floor of the Centre very close to the entrance to the Town’s mainline rail station (which, uniquely, is housed within a shopping centre!). The shop stocks over 15,000 titles housed in a contemporary environment giving a bright & inviting shopping experience. Every single book that we stock is discounted by up to 50% off the RRP. The shop is independently owned by Tony Maher & Jon Barlow - and ably managed by Louise Hunter & her team.
