World Book Night is a celebration designed to spread the love of reading and books. On April 23 2012, the UK and USA will see tens of thousands of people gift books within their communities to spread the joy and love of reading.
However if you can't wait until April, then please see below for the titles that are being featured on the special night.
And it gets even better. Each author whose book has been selected for WBN has chosen a book that he or she loves, and chapters of them will be printed inside the WBN books, so you get to read what your favourite author has chosen for you too.
The titles that have been personally chosen by the WBN authors are listed further down the page. We’ve put them together so if you like the small excerpt you read in your WBN book, you can continue to enjoy it by purchasing the whole book, and supporting your local independent bookshop too.
