An Yu

An Yu was born and raised in Beijing, and left at the age of eighteen to study in New York at NYU. A graduate of the NYU MFA in Creative Writing, she writes her fiction in English. She is twenty-six years old and lives between Paris and Hong Kong. Braised Pork is her first novel.

Francesca Wade

Francesca Wade has written for publications including the London Review of Books, Times Literary Supplement, Financial Times, New Statesman and Prospect. She is editor of The White Review, and winner of the Biographers' Club Tony Lothian Prize. Square Haunting is her first book. She lives in London.

Jamie Collinson

Jamie Collinson was born in 1980 in Lincolnshire, England. He grew up in Leeds, then moved to London to study English Literature at King’s College. He works in the music industry, including a period at the independent label Ninja Tune, with artists such as Wiley, Roots Manuva, Bonobo and Young Fathers. In 2012 he moved to Los Angeles to run the company’s American headquarters. His fiction has been included in various magazines and anthologies.

Sarah Hagger-Holt

Sarah Hagger-Holt is Head of Campaigns at LGBT equality charity Stonewall and lives with her partner and two daughters un the UK. She is the author of two adult non-fiction books and has written for the i Paper, the Huffington Post, and spoken on Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour about LGBT parenting. The idea for Nothing Ever Happens Here was sparked by interviews that she carried out with trans parents and their children. Sarah’s passion lies in children’s books and opening up important topics for discussion with young people.
