Andrew Michael Hurley has lived in Manchester and London, and is now based in Lancashire, where he teaches English Literature and Creative Writing. The Loney is his first novel - first published in October 2014 by Tartarus Press, a tiny independent publisher based in Yorkshire. In August 2015 it was published by John Murray Press and is now publishing around the world to huge critical acclaim. Andrew Michael Hurley is a home-grown British talent, and The Loney has become an international phenomenon.
Jessica Cornwell was born in 1986. She studied English at Stanford University and Drama at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, before training with the Catalan theatre company La Fura dels Baus. In 2010 she moved to London to work in film. She now divides her time between the city and her small home town in southern California. Jessica's first novel is The Serpent Papers.
Jenn Bennett is an artist and author who writes for both adults and teens alike. Born is Germany, she's lived and travelled extensively throughout Europe, the US and the Far East. Jenn currently resides near Atlanta with one husband and two evil pugs. Night Owls is her first YA contemporary romance published in the UK.
Lauren James is a scientist by day, writer by early hours of the morning. She graduated in 2014 with a Masters degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Nottingham, where she studied Chemistry and Physics. She now lives in the village of Berkswell, West Midlands.
