Pam studied Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University, going on to complete the MA Children's Book Illustration in 2004.
She combines her role as lecturer in illustration with illustrating fiction. Pam lives in Cambridge.
The inspiration for Thornhill came after spotting an abandoned house whilst walking her dog.
Pausing to draw it in her sketchbook Pam started to wonder what the story of the house was and who might have lived there.
When she's not trying to take over the world or fighting sock-stealing monsters, Laura Ellen Anderson is a professional children's book author & illustrator, with an increasing addiction to coffee. She spends every waking hour creating and drawing, and would quite like to live on the moon when humans finally make it possible. Laura is the creator of EVIL EMPEROR PENGUIN and illustrator of WITCH WARS, as well as many other children’s books. AMELIA FANG is her first series as author-illustrator.
Nikola Scott was born and raised in Germany and studied English and American literature at university. After finishing her Master's degree, Nikola moved to New York City to begin her first job in book publishing – a career in which she could fully indulge her love of fiction. She spent over a decade working as a fiction editor in New York and then in London before she decided to take the leap to become a full-time writer herself. She now lives in Frankfurt with her husband and two sons.
Born in Chatham and partly raised in Dublin, Liz Lawler is one of fourteen children and grew up sharing socks, pants, stuffed bras and a table space to eat at. Liz spent over twenty years working as a nurse, and has since worked as a flight attendant and as the general manager of a fives tar
hotel. She now lives in Bath with her husband.
