Description

Second World War drama. Set in 1944, the film follows Estonian soldiers, like Karl Tammik and Jüri Jõgi (Kaspar Velberg and Kristjan Üksküla), who were divided between the armies of Russia and Germany and forced to fight against one another.

Although some were able to choose sides, many were forcibly drafted into the Red or Nazi Army.

The war's bloodiest conflicts from the Battle of Tannenberg Line to the Sõrve Peninsula Battle of Tehumardi are depicted as both sides fight for freedom and victory.
