This book teaches children how to move on after a loved one dies. This is very helpful because a lot of children go through this and just don't know how to express themselves. When Fox dies, Hare, Mole, and otter take his loss very hard. They also come up with ways to remember Fox with happy memories. Each animal makes something for remembrance of Fox each month. This way Fox is still with them in their hearts forever.
