Alice A. Bailey was the "amanuensis" of the Tibetan Master, Djwhal Khul. Through AAB, the Tibetan wrote many books during the 1930s and 40s. The teachings given in these books is the next step in the information given out after HB Blavatsky's "The Secret Doctrine." This particular book describes the life that AAB led before she met the Tibetan and the struggles she went through after meeting him and receiving the knowledge required to write his books. The autobiography is "unfinished" in the sense that she wrote it before she died, but also in the sense that her "life" in unfinished as her Soul continues to incarnate while it travels the evolutionary path back to the Source.
