There's not really much I can say about this trade. Peter has more angst and more woes - uniform troubles, mutant troubles, relationship troubles - although he does get back together with Mary Jane, and he gets to meet the X-Men (and his very own fan girl, Kitty Pryde). Aunt May also has her own troubles, as she discusses with a counselor. The story was pretty good - very typical of this series, although not the best arc I've read.

This one was okay, mostly made me want to get hold of the Ultimate X-men comics so I can get to know those characters. It felt like a bit of a slump, story-wise; sure, we got a bit more involvement with the rest of the Marvel universe, and a bit of engagement with the mutant issue, but compared to the Venom storyline (which did not get picked up again yet) and the single TPB villains earlier in the Ultimate Spider-man run, it seems pretty slow/inconsequential. There is some development with Peter and Mary Jane, but I'm not the greatest fan of that, so eh.
