The Kingpin returns, and his grudge against Spider-Man has only increased. Determined to take Peter down, Fisk backs the crooked DA candidate, Sam Bullit, who promises that, if elected, he'll be tough on masked vigilantes like Spider-Man. There's the introduction of Ultimate Black Cat, who has a crush on Spider-Man after running into him when he attempts to foil a robbery she's committing. And Ultimate Elektra makes an appearance, as well.Overall, I thought that the trade was pretty good. Just when you think that Peter's life can't get any more complicated, something else happens that adds another problem. I even felt a little sorry for the Kingpin at the end, which was unexpected.

Aunt May is awesome. That's my main reaction to this volume. Aunt May is awesome and there needs to be more of her. I love how much she adores Peter and tries to look after him.Less entranced by the Elektra and Felicia stuff -- it didn't feel developed enough. Maybe there's going to be more later about one or both of them, which would be good.
