Review by Lyn.S.Soussi
I never tire of this charming story, the magic has been with me since I first read it at a very early age, and continues now as I read it to my own eight year old... Some stories will live forever.

On the one hand, I don't approve of abridged books; on the other hand, the much of the moralizing was left out, and even so, I thought there was too much. But there are some clever bits and he mentions the wise men of Gotham, who, like the wise men of Chelm, try to catch the moon when they see it in a body of water. And it's an early example of original children's fairy tales.
