Six classic films noir produced by Columbia Pictures in the 1940s and '50s.

In 'Escape in the Fog' (1945), set during the Second World War, a nurse who is haunted by nightmares of a murder discovers her visions may be about to become reality. 'The Undercover Man' (1949) follows federal agent Frank Warren (Glenn Ford) as he attempts to take down an elusive crime boss.

In 'Drive a Crooked Road' (1954) mechanic Eddie Shannon (Mickey Rooney) falls in love with a woman who convinces him to take part in a bank heist.

In '5 Against the House' (1955) four college students and a nightclub singer plot to rob a casino in Reno, Nevada.

In 'The Garment Jungle' (1957) factory owner Walter Mitchell (Lee J.

Cobb) does everything he can to prevent his workers joining a union, including enlisting the help of the Mob.

Finally, in 'The Lineup' (1958) two detectives race to foil a drug smuggling ring in San Francisco.
