Bad Things Happen Paperback
by Harry Dolan
David Loogan is leading a new and quietly anonymous life in a new town.

David Loogan is taken on as an editor of a crime magazine in Ann Arbor after becoming friends with the publisher which begins a spiral of murders which he feels compelled to try to solve. However, his own background is mysterious and not what it seems. A plot which reminded me of Harlan Coben and kept you guessing until all was revealed in its complexities in the final pages. A worthy debut novel.
