Review by

While this is a story about a psychic, it's more about journalist Katie Pickard and her voyage of self-discovery. It starts with her going to interview Aussie-in-exile Jim Gabriel about his predictions for the year ahead and her writing of a piece about him. Dismissed as a crank and her article edited to reflect this everything starts to come apart when his predictions start to come true. However, one of his predictions is that Katie is going to marry him. She's only just met him! Add into the mix his assistant who is using witchcraft to get her own way and you have a very volatile mix. It's harmless entertainment, nothing serious, some of it was a little overdone but overall I enjoyed the read.
