Julian of Norwich was an anchoress, a woman who dedicated her prayerful life to God, living in a cell attached to a church in Norwich in the late-fourteenth/ early-fifteenth century.

This new edition curated by Fr Luke Penkett, archivist and librarian of the Julian Centre, presents her words anew for a modern generation.

The original edition was edited by Fr Robert Llewelyn, chaplain of the Julian Shrine.
