Grey Skies & Rainbows, Paperback / softback Book

Grey Skies & Rainbows Paperback / softback

Paperback / softback

Description

This book will take you on a journey through the eyes of seven children in one family.

They were born in a small town in Ireland in the 1930's.

They were very happy and contented living on their small holding with their mammy and daddy, until one fateful day, when tragedy struck, changing all their young lives for ever. They were torn apart and sent separate ways to different family members, but then their father decided that he wanted a new life and went to court to swear his children away and that is where their real horror stories began. Life in the Industrial Schools in Ireland were horrendous. But these children are fighters and survivors, their story is one of humour as well as sadness and hurt. This book is written as a novel, but is actually based on fact. It is the story of one family, and the stories have been passed down from the Survivors.
