First in the Women of the Otherworld series. Elena is the only female werewolf in existence after surviving being bitten ten years ago by the man she loves. After fighting against her condition and then spending time living with the Pack she has enough and moves to Toronto where she tries to live as a human. But when her Pack is targeted she is called home to help track down the rogue werewolves who threaten their existence when they start turning human killers and other escaped convicts into werewolves. An entertaining read.
